The State of Montana

Montana is located in the Western United States. It is bordered by the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia to the north, and by the states of North and South Dakota, Wyoming, and Idaho. About a third of the state is covered by the Rocky Mountains, while the eastern half is covered by praire and badlands. It has no official nickname but is often called "Big Sky Country."

The state has many mountain ranges and river valleys, and glaciated plains. Many important archaeological digs have found dinosaur fossils in the northeastern portion of the state. Like Minnesota, it is one of the few places on the globe to serve three watersheds. Water drains down to the Gulf of Mexico, the Hudson Bay, and the Pacific Ocean through Montana's many thousands of rivers. The climate of Montana has quite a lot of variation due to its geography. The flatter eastern region of Montana has a semi-arid continental climate. It receives far less rain than the western part of the state on the other side of the Continental Divide, which is categorized has having a modified Pacific coast climate, with generally milder conditions all around as well as a longer growing period.

Its rivers, lakes, mountains, and otherwise spectacular scenery draw tons of outdoors enthusiasts all throughout the year. Sports fisherman fish for trout in its many streams, and hikers, campers, and huntsmen all enjoy their various outdoor pursuits there in the state's many national and state parks. Tourism is a booming business in Montana, with over ten million visitors to the state's various parks a year. Important industries in Montana include lumber and extracting minerals such as talc, silver, coal, and gold. It also ranks third in the number of craft breweries.

Residents in Montana enjoy access to all national cellular carriers, but due to environmental conditions or other factors some people may not be receiving decent cellular coverage. If you live or work in the state of Montana and are having connectivity issues, it may not be your carrier’s fault.
